In 1963 when George Wallace refused to integrate the University of Alabama, and refused to recognize the authority of the US Attorney and a dozen federal Marshalls, JFK Federalized the Alabama National Guard to exact compliance.
The General of the Guard ordered Wallace to step aside and that he was authorized to use deadly force to compel it. Of course the governor stood aside.
This at the top of the granite steps of the University admin building with every news organization in the US watching.
Democrats are not reluctant to use Federal power.
I’d say that I’d pay real money to see that happen here in this case, but God knows with the taxes out here, I’ve ALREADY paid. Just waiting for SHOWTIME, now.
