For decades, they have had a near clear shot at the takeover of our Republic. They have thus become confidently arrogant.
They are also in for an attitude adjustment session or two.

Really, all the CA Democrat representatives are alike and vot e in lock-step on 99 percent of issues.

A “forward leaning state”? California? LOL!
According to the 2015 ACU ratings, the only CA Democrat to score 10% Conservative was Zoe Lofgren. Everyone else scored between 0-8%. 18 (17 in the House + Feinstein) scored a perfect 0%. But this is a chronic problem not just in California, but nationally with the Democrats. In the Senate alone, just 2 members scored higher than 14%, Joe Donnelly from IN with a paltry 17% and Manchin of WV with 33%, both of which are pretty far to the left. 30 Dems scored a 0%.
Go back to the 1981 Senate and just 9 were zeros (CA’s Cranston; HI’s Inouye & Matsunaga; MD’s Sarbanes; Ted Kennedy; NJ’s Harrison Williams; OH’s Metzenbaum; RI’s Pell & VT’s Leahy). Seven Dems voted above 50% Conservative (AL’s Heflin-54; AZ’s DeConcini-57; NE’s Zorinsky-71; OK’s Boren-61; TX’s Bentsen-51; WI’s Proxmire-53 & VA’s Ind. Dem. Byrd-86). Shows how radicalized the Dems have gotten when leftists Donnelly and Manchin are called “Conservatives.”

Really ...?? I love how everybody is so willing to get rid of EVERYBODY in CA .. but I’m not a liberal, and I live in CA.
Current Governor chased away all the Repubs .. that’s why the state is such a mess.
