Actually I've long wondered how rabidly pro-abort women (like Hillary, Nancy Pelosi and Barbara Boxer) can feel comfortable holding a newborn.

My attitude changed completely the first time I held my daughter, nearly 30 years ago. Been ardently pro-life ever since that moment...it was truly overwhelming to me.

Another thought hit me a few moments later: I realized why all of those fathers looked at me the way they did when I was taking out their daughter on a date. lol

I think you're right about Hillary being uncomfortable around small children. She never spent real time with Chelsea, she had paid staff to change her diapers, clean up her messes, stuff like that.

From personal experience with three kids, I'm a certified toxic waste handler.

My MIL was similar. Ultrasounds were not common when her kids were born and MrR and I were in our 40s when we had our daughter last year (high risk pregnancy). MIL was staunchly pro-abortion until I got pregnant and she saw the ultrasound. Not just the pics but I took her to an appt and she saw her only grandchild moving, ‘eating’, practice breathing and sucking her thumb and all of a sudden has become fiercely pro life. If we could force abortion doctors to show women ultrasounds there would be a lot fewer abortions.
