Nevada election officials will recount ballots in five counties after independent presidential candidate Roque De La Fuente requested and paid about $14,000 for the effort.
De La Fuente finished last in the state but this week requested a recount in Nevada, a state Democrat Hillary Clinton won. De La Fuente says he wants to counterbalance a recount Green Party candidate Jill Stein requested in Wisconsin, which President-elect Donald Trump won. Stein also has requested recounts in Trump-won states of Michigan and Pennsylvania.
Nevada Deputy Secretary of State for Elections Wayne Thorley said Wednesday that state law requires the five counties — Carson City, Douglas, Mineral, Nye and Clark — to begin the recount within five days and to complete it within five additional days.
Thorley says if recount results show a discrepancy of at least 1 percent for De La Fuente or Clinton, a full state recount will be launched.

Many Democratic Party donors have had it. They fully expected Hillary to win in a landslide. They even thought they might take back the senate and they forked over a lot of cash to make it happen. Now they think it was a big waste and many of them won’t be giving the party anymore money any time soon.

Someone wrote me in on the Oregon ballot. There may have been other votes for me that weren’t tabulated. I demand a recount.
Roque just wantts to find out which of his relatives didn’t vote for him. That’s all this is.
Good question. I am not sure. Guy has 6.9 million in campaign debt with loans he took out and only raised $ 17,000 from what I have seen.
Would like to see if the guy who sided the Wisconsin petition as a notary Martelli is really a notary and why his notary license expiration date was listed as indefinite on the petition for a recount.
It’s traditional for people to go to Nevada and wager large sums of money on bets they can’t possibly win.
In NV, hildabeast by about 26,000 statewide. (Can you say hairy reeds union buddies?) Oddly, in Clark county (vegas) she won by approx 401,000 to 319,000. Yet statewide, around 537,000 to 511,000. Kinda weird how those numbers work out eh?
I wonder how long Reid is going to last after he leaves the Senate...the mob won’t have anyone from Nev. to steal their lands, and give them mineral rights to China...
