Obama fooled a lot of people into thinking he was more of a centrist, then took the nation hard left. Republicans nominated a lousy candidated who choked and thus Obama’s failed approach was given another 4 years, which in the final analysis may have been genius because now instead of a Romney who might have pushed a few issues back toward the center, we have Trump who will push them off the cliff and burn the remains.
If you doubt this just ask yourself: If Jeb Bush (the 2016 version of Romney) had won, would you have high confidence he would actually repeal Obamacare? There sure wouldn’t be any talk of a Wall or a 19,000 Dow!
But if Jeb! was nominee, National Review would have supported him...that would have really helped!
Sad that it had to come to that.
