HARRISBURG — The Green Party-backed push for a recount of Pennsylvania’s presidential election results will get its day in court.

Commonwealth Court has scheduled a hearing for 10 a.m. Monday in Harrisburg to consider the recount effort pushed by former Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein, according to a court order Tuesday.

Ms. Stein’s campaign helped coordinate a legal challenge this week seeking the statewide recount, contending the Nov. 8 election was illegal and its results inaccurate.

It cited as evidence research by computer scientists pointing to potential hacking of electronic voting machines, as well as numerous news reports of hacking, possibly by foreign governments, into email accounts associated with the Democratic National Committee and the campaign chairman for Hillary Clinton.

This is stupid, as well as sad that the state of PA would allow themselves to go to this expense and hassle in an election Trump won by 70,000 votes. Nothing is going to change, no matter how much Stein and the liberals want it to.

For sure Gov. Wolf wants nothing to do with this.
The Trump voter surge has left him stranded on a political island. His future now depends on making nice with Pennsylvanians who voted for Trump. How much control he has over the levers and switches here is debatable.

There are reports out today that Bill Clinton advised against this recount effort. He thinks it is likely to uncover even MORE votes for Trump.

There has already been a dismissal in Montgomery county. This smells like judge shopping. They will continue to file until they get a dim judge who will bite the bait.

I suspect that the judges (those that are Democrats) got the word that the last thing the Democrat Party needs in PA is for a recount to get into the nitty gritty details that would expose the Democrat’s vote manipulations. The effort failed this election due to the swing of FDR and LBJ Democrats to Trump and the Blacks that left the plantation or couldn’t be bothered to vote.

ahhh...thanks. I had read on one of the other 30,000 threads about recounts that there was no paper ballots.
