FWIW, my older brother is named Michael but when I was a little tot, I couldn’t say Michael and so it came out as “Coco”. It didn’t’ stick to become his nickname and no one else called him that except for my mother sometimes jokingly, but I still sometimes call him that, especially when wishing him a happy birthday. : )
