The MSM called him a ‘right wing racist’ and he lost to the globalist Herbert Walker Bush.
That left us essentially on a wrong track for a generation (Clintonx2, George W., Obama). 20 trillion in debt, tens of millions of lost jobs, invasion of illegals.

This bears repeating. A lot. Great summary. Buchanan also didn't want us getting into costly, pointless wars with everyone. The kind of stuff Washington warned about in his farewell address - the founders didn't want an Empire that screws its "subjects."
