I believe there may be global warming but I defy anyone to provide proof how this is man made. We cannot even steer a hurricane away from NO and yet I am to believe we know that man-made "global climate change" is going to destroy the globe in 100 years??? Global warming and cooling is caused by the variable output of the sun on the large scale, and is tempered by the changing cycles of the ocean currents on the smaller scale. Man has little to nothing to do about it.

You would be wise to use the proper /s notation when stating something like that with s straight face. The effect is great in person but on the intewebz people might think you are serious.

My understanding is that most of the northern hemisphere was covered in ice and then came the SUVs and melted the ice and made the northern hemisphere a nice place to live.

The scam has been well known for some time. The surface data has been played with to make it look like warming is taking place. Raw data and satellite data do not establish a trend. The climate models have no established operational capability and don’t agree even with the manipulated data.

We are a small minority here, but on the whole I agree with you. Except that the main cause is indeed natural, we only pulled the trigger by moving across some critical points of inflection.

However, I am old enough to remember when 90% of climate scientists were confidently predicting we were on the edge of a new ice age, so I put very little faith in their opinions or their models.

So let me agree with the consesnus on this at least: ignore the "scientists" and do your own research.
