The University of Mississippi Student Body Senate has pulled a resolution which would have created a “sanctuary campus” for illegal immigrant students and banned federal immigration officials from stepping foot on campus after overwhelming backlash. Hours after Breitbart Texas reported on the push to make Ole Miss a sanctuary campus, the resolution was pulled from being voted on by the Student Senate after alumni and the general public flooded the university’s and Sen. Chris McDaniel’s (R-Ms) office with concerns over the resolution, according to Mississippi Pep.

If any state university in a Southern State that has a Republican legislature and/or Republican governor becomes a “sanctuary campus”, the Republican officeholders are doing something very wrong. State-level Republicans need to nip this crap in the bud.

As so many of us have been saying for years, take away access to other people’s money and watch how many libs suddenly realize their pet causes aren’t all that important to them anymore.
Not good enough, they should be severely punished just for attempting this crap, Say LOSS of Accreditation, No Student Loans, No Federal Funding...

All it takes is for Trump to pull their Title IV funding and Old Miss is Old Goner.
Title IV funding loss is what closed ITT a few months ago.
Most schools live on Title IV funding and cannot do without it.
Saturday I was in an Oxford bookstore before the Egg Bowl and overheard some extra-special snowflakes discussing their dream of free college and “universal work.” They have it all figured out. It would be really easy to accomplish if only we’d listen to them.
Good to see McDaniel was useful. He led Cruz’s folly in Missisippi
