Former Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin (R) is under consideration to serve as the secretary of Veterans Affairs in Donald Trump's administration, ABC News reported.

It’s time for a woman VA Secretary!
I wonder what the synergies their can be between Sarah @ the VA, Dr Price @ HHS, and Seema Verma as Administrator of the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Service.
I think their is a cost saving / consumer driven model that Dr. Price has in his Obamacare Alternative, why can't this "platform" also be adopted by the VA? What a great place to have it!
Also Sarah and Team Trump if you are Lurking. Make the House and Senate get the same policy / Treatment as the VA. If it is good enough for our Troops it is good enough for them.
It would be interesting if this were only the “unofficial” story and the real inside story is that she is being vetted, but for a different cabinet position such as state, and only trump and maybe pence know the real official reason that she is being vetted.

Well, Sarah has had a son in the military who came out with
some PTSD from it. - My dad, a WWII combat veteran always
said that he thought that military members should not be
in high government positions. He thought they, for one
thing, were generally too quick to see war as the answer to
everything. (I’ve found, though, that Democrat civilians
are all too quick to send troops into war and then get in
a mess; but when Republicans came into power, Dems start
squawking about it not getting all “fixed” immediately.
I love Sarah but she is coastal and we need middle America. Not her fault.
I am proposing to total shut down of the VA medical system. Simply replace it with medicare that is earned on honorable discharge. You pay the same monthly premium as over 65 unless you are certified as having served in combat by your commanding officer. If you are a combat vet you pay nothing. This gives you the doctor of your choice as a vet. You can purchase a supplement on the uninsured 20% IF YOU WANT TO .
Now take the VA infrastructure and enhance the quality but use the facility for a public option health car system for preexisting or the uninsurable. Also the poor. If you want better than that— you buy it in the free market. Doctors stay the same. Problem FIXED!!
This second American Revolution needs a Mamma Grizzly to complete the mission - of that we are confident.
Anywhere important and meaningful is where Sarah needs to be.
And give her full reign; carte blanche.
