Chip and Joanna Gaines are hot right now... but theyre also in the hot seat. The entrepreneurial couples HGTV show Fixer Upper has captivated the hearts of a diverse set of viewers, garnering them much media recognition. But after an article unearthed the pro-traditional marriage position of the Gaines pastor, fans are calling for the couple to reveal their own stance on the issue.
While running Magnolia, their home goods and construction business, Chip and Joanna Gaines were contacted by HGTV about the possibility of creating a home transformation show. In 2013, that dream became a reality with Fixer Upper.

Found them on Netflix, I believe it was. Could have been HULU or Amazon.
At any rate, I enjoy their show. Two people trying to make a living and support their home and kids.
How unAmerican can you get? Watch, as the homos and the Left try to tell you.
I hear that when they were in college at Baylor they actually pulled up to red light in Elm Mott and stopped next to a Camaro driven by David Koresh. OMG! What’s next? Do they know the true identity of some of the Noze Brothers?
Didn’t you know Texas is going to follow Colorado’s example when they legalized gay marriage and marijuana on the same day.
They justified it by saying it was biblical, because the bible says “if a man lies down with another man let him be stoned.”
...sorry, lol ;-)
No...their dentist is the homophobe.
Their butcher is an anti-dentite.
Okay. That made me laugh.
I love Jo-Jo’s style
Forever live shabby chic! I doubt the Trump Family will using her decorating services anytime soon. ;)
Nice little subtle propoganda technique, "unearthed." As if it was something the man was deliberately hiding, out of shame, and needed to be discovered by an intrepid journalist.
And really - their fans are the ones asking this question? What total BS. It's more of the same disgusting, miserable PC Police, in their quest to smear and subjugate ANYone with ANY type of traditional value. This lovely, successful, married Christian couple and their four children simply CANNOT be tolerated.
I think [in their TV persona], they are finer than frog hair split four ways.
They seem to have a nice, wholesome chemistry that harkens a 1960s sitcom. When times were more innocent. :)
I love to watch those kind of shows but can’t stand theirs. Nothing to do with politics or whatever.
Always tear down a wall and wire it with “220,221 whatever it takes”.
I never understand the pull of open concept. If there is just one big room other than the bathrooms and bedrooms it makes it difficult to control noise and have any privacy. If I want to work on a computer, practice a musical instrument, or read a book I have to use a bedroom.
The only time you need one big room is for a party. It does make the house look bigger but not sure it is the best choice for most families.
Touche! And what follows is what my granddad would say but take it only in jest (please): Now I know how the Philistines felt when they were slain by the jaw of an ass.
We are redoing our kitchen, dining and mud room this winter. There will be shiplap, a farmhouse sink, farmhouses table, gray cabinets and open shelving. And, of course, at least one barn door! I absolutely love Joanna’s style.
Thankfully, my husband can do all the work so we will be a less attractive, less funny, tiny budget knock off version of Chip and Joanna. I design, he builds. We’ve collaborated like that for his clients (he has his own carpentry business) and the few times we’ve done that has been fun.
You’re very fortunate to have a handi-man. Your project going to be wonderful.
I love old wood and the texture of it. Barnwood. Love hand hewn beams and patinaed wood.
We are going to fake the old barn wood look. I worked as a cleaning lady while in college and learned that dusting rough wood is a pain! To save money we will be making our countertops with standard lumber-my job will be to make it look like reclaimed wood.
I am blessed to have a husband with his skills:). Our budget is incredibly small, but with him building the cabinets and doing all the work it’s possible. If you saw our house in its current state you’d understand my excitement about it all!
These people need to be protected and the leftist monsters who go after them need to be called out. Gotta start somewhere.
My thoughts exactly. They say it’s so the mom can cook and keep an eye on the kids. Our house is anything but open concept, and I never managed to lose a toddler.
I saw this young company featured on *BarnwoodBuilders* with Mark Bowe:
Rustic Nail & Co., Bowling Green, KY; He [Kyle Cochran] creates gorgeous one-of-a-kind pieces for commercial, residential clients.
I see his website does not exist any longer ;(; but this is a link [of an interview] which gives you an idea of what he does.

Thanks-I’ll check it out.
