Exactly.

Trump campaigned strongly on a defensive, non-interventionist foreign policy platform that stresses reasonable (!) cooperation with countries that hitherto were not on the best terms with us. Trump specifically criticized the disatrous perpetual-war adventurism and ruinious nation building of the Bush/Clinton years.

Bolton is THE posterboy for the failed neocon Bushite adventurism. He talks tough... but he is toxic and unsuited for Trumps agenda, as laid out during the campaign.

During the battle to crush the Iraqi insurgency, Gen. Kelly took command of the newly formed Task Force Tripoli and drove it north from Baghdad into Samarra and Tikrit.

During the initial assault on Baghdad, Kelly was asked by a reporter of the Los Angeles Times if (considering the size of the Iraqi Army and the vast supplies of tanks, artillery and chemical weapons available to Saddam’s forces) he would ever consider defeat.

Kelly’s archetypal response was, “Hell these are Marines. Men like them held Guadalcanal and took Iwo Jima. Baghdad ain’t shit.”

I can’t think of any reason why VP-Elect Pence would meet with Condi Rice today (according to insider Jack Posobiec) unless Pence was sounding her out about being SoS again. I didn’t think Condi wanted anything to do with a Trump administration from what she said pre-election but maybe they can lure her back.

What do y’all think about Condi as the 5th candidate? She obviously could do anything without Trump approval, even as a neo-con.

Sorry, meant she obviously could NOT do anything as an SoS without Trump approval, IF she was in the running...

Mitt Romney - I would think far less of President Trump if he picked Mitt.

Bob Corker - I would think less of President Trump if he picked Corker.

David Petraeus - I would think far less of President Trump if he picked Mitt.

Rudy Giuliani, - I’d rather see him elsewhere, but completely acceptable for State.

John Kelly - completely acceptable for State.

Gee. A motley crew.

I think Rudy. But admit I don’t know much about Kelly.

Corker? Nope. Helped Iran get nukes.
Mitt? Nope. He actively campaigned against the choice of the people.

John Kelly is a fine man and would be a wonderful Secretary of State! Kelly is real and knows, first hand, the Islamic threat to this country.

Trump could not possibly pick a better man!

Three of those are unacceptable for me. The General and Rudy are ok.

I would NOT prefer Condi for the job again. I did like her during Bush, but time has revealed her true inclinations, which don’t read well to me. She’s like a female version of Powell.

I used to like her back in the day too. Not sure I want her back either. Maybe it’s a moot point anyway but I thought she’d be staying far away from the newly forming Trump admin and she isn’t. Very odd.

He’s a globalist, he’s NOT a globalist,... hes a neocon, he’s the opposite of the....

All I know is that when I listen to John Bolton on the radio he makes more common sense with plain and direct talk than I have heard in decades.

.
Bolton is solid, pro America as they come.

Thats why the MSM hate him, just like they hate Cruz. He would end the global BS permanently, given the chance.
