This may be wild hyperbole, but it makes me think of George Washington, who everyone wanted and expected to make himself king after the first election. Yet he stepped down at the end of his term, knowing how critical to the future of the nation that example had to be. Walked right away from all that possible wealth and power.
I think even King George gave him props for that move, IIRC.
Why is that notable?
So why wouldn't Trump wait until after Dec 19 to have this meeting and press conference?

It has become just horrible that a man can not have a business and be POTUS after all IT IS what our founders had envisioned! Businessmen running our republic and then RETURNING to their businesses WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED????
I am with you 100% on this feeling, this election was a divine intervention, this republic has been given the chance after 100 years to turn this ship!!! I PRAY it is NOT squandered!! WE have been given, both houses, the White House and the court now let’s see if we can do what the good lord expects from us!!!

Nobody watches or reads the “press” any more. Trump has intermediated them into oblivion . He gave his Thanksgiving Message on YouTube and has 30 million on twitter. The so called”pres” ( meaning dishonest political propagandists) are left to cover his unfiltered tweets!! It is absolutely hilarious.

The press will never join in the celebration, and they hate this country, anyway, so I try to simply ignore them, or laugh when appropriate!
Don Jr also ran the leasing end of it. She was the creative director and project manager. Both did an excellent job -- it's beautiful.
Both Don Jr and Ivanka are older than The Donald was when he actually built the Trump Tower. They are probably more than ready to take over.
