The Black Lives Matter group mourned and defended former Cuban leader Fidel Castro, and said it felt an "overwhelming sense of loss" after the death of the communist dictator on Friday.
"Although no leader is without their flaws, we must push back against the rhetoric of the right and come to the defense of El Comandante," the group wrote in an unsigned editorial published Sunday titled, "Lessons from Fidel: Black Lives Matter and the Transition of El Comandante."
The group praised Castro's "revolution," and said humans deserve certain rights based on being born, including: "healthy food, clean water, decent housing, safe communities, quality healthcare, mental health services, free and quality education, community spaces, art, democratic engagement, regular vacations, sports, and places for spiritual expression are not questions of resources, but questions of political will and they are requirements of any humane society."(continued)

America has had its flirtation with communism, and it will be over in less than 2 months; it has been thoroughly repudiated. Socialism (communism lite) is still a very real threat, but the fundamental transformation, while it has left scars/damage, didn’t work. Also, the heavy over-representation of all things black pushed in our media for years now is already drawing to a close.
You assume that they can read. I wish they would all move to communist Cuba.

Well of course BLM mourns the passing of Castro. From their inception the Pro-Castro front group, the Venceramos Brigade has worked hand in glove with the BLM in setting up their “protest actions”.
Set up during the late sixties by Castro, The Venceramos Brigades purported to be a hands across the water group to promote understanding between the USA and Cuba. American volunteers recruited from the campus leftist groups at universities such as Berkley went to Cuba to help with the sugar cane harvest. The DGI, Cuba’s KGB, recruited “agents of change” from these lefties for more indoctrination in hopes of setting cadres loose in the USA.
