I don’t think Trump ever wanted to slap 35% tariffs on U.S. goods manufactured in Mexico.

He wanted to make it unprofitable to manufacture down there and bring good back here to sell.

That wouldn’t take anywhere near 35% tariffs to accomplish.

I prefer companies with with Trump with the attitude that keeping jobs in the U.S. is better for everyone.

Look folks, with more people working in the United States, what are sales going to do? They will go up.

Imagine that...

“ith the attitude that keeping jobs in the U.S. is better for everyone.”

That’s what has been lost in this whole argument. It is good for everyone if the jobs stay here. And I have no problem subsidizing some industries as long as we are creating good jobs and are exporting things like energy. We should be supporting American industry and training American workers for those industries. No more visas and refugees until the last American worker has a job.

Get in there early ... high school .. train students for the jobs that will be available ...on a small scale St. Petersburg does this with ...partnerships between local industries and trade schools. It can be done...we just need the will and the push from the top!
