Goodwin and Amanna. Same factory, same parts. Only diff between them are the name plates. If you go for their heatpumps get the “hard start” option. Adds about $120 bucks, but the other manufacturers include it and it really is needed. Other than that, good units. (Hard start adds a capacitor to kick the motor over to start the compressor. When it is cold, they need a lil extra oomph to start.)

All compressor motors use two capacitors.

Its called “capacitor start / capacitor run.”

Without them they would just trip the high head switch and never start at all.

Yup...we had one installed in our first condo..11 years later was fine when we sold it. Just bought our second one for our current home.
