Newt Gingrich said Tuesday that President-elect Donald Trump’s biggest mistake since the election was his claiming without any evidence that millions of votes were illegally cast on Election Day.
"The president of the United States can't randomly tweet without having somebody check it out," Gingrich, a vice chair on Trump's transition team, told USA Today’s Susan Page during an appearance on the Capital Download video series. “I mean it just— It makes you wonder about whatever else he's doing. It undermines much more than a single tweet."
On Sunday, Trump falsely (sic) claimed that “millions” of people voted illegally, preventing him from winning the popular vote. A widely-shared article on the conspiracy website InfoWars, whose creator, Alex Jones, Trump has praised in the past, cited a non-existent report to make an identical bogus claim.

Yea this is the dumbest thing for Gingrich to say, I mean anyone with a brain knows this sh*t is going on in CALI by the thousands..if not way more than that.
I think DT was talking about the Cali enormous vote coming in everyday for Hildabeast’s popular vote number. Who is watching these ballots? Is there quality control? hell no.

Why do dems encourage them to flood our country and refuse to enforce our federal law by kicking them out and/or prosecuting them? The Marxists stand up for the illegals, because that’s their voting base! I don’t understand how they vote. Don’t they have to show their driver’s license? I always have to. That’s why I never understood the Voter ID laws because I thought you already had to do that. And I would think they would be scared to go places like that or uninterested in american politics. I don’t know.
Gingrich is suffering from diarrhea of the mouth and constipation of the brain. He is wrong, of course, but do we really need to hear him, of all people, criticizing DJT? As if we don’t hear enough of that from the MSM. He needs to sit down and just shut up.

Gingrich just can’t help it. He shoots from the lip. It’s like he thinks it makes him sound smart. Remember back when he added fuel to the fire by second-guessing Trump on some issues.
I have noticed that about Gingrich: He goes along at a fairly even keel for so long, and then goes stark raving, jaw dropping insane. I suppose that is why he lost his Speakership.
There he is, fulfilling my prophecy.

I remember Newt and the Dornan / Sanchez election.
She won by 735 votes or so, and they had already found over 100 illegal alien votes, because Hermandad Nacional had registered them prior to them being sworn in.
The finding of any illegal votes, tosses the election into the air. Congress was authorized to call for a new election. Newt and company took a pass on it, handing Sanchez the win.
Hermandad Nacional was the contractor that taught Mexican Nationals preparing to take the citizenship test.
It violated the law, was attempting to swing the election, and a violation of it mandate. It was a clear conflict of interest, representing the Mexican nationals over the U.S. government.
It didn’t lose it’s ability to conduct business, and the fine it got was token and probably never paid.
Newt can go straight to “not the good place”.
I agree - on all counts.
Trump's bluntness, even if it offends, is a lot better than Newt's approach when he decides to play 'master diplomat'.
It is true that Trump cannot prove his statement - but anyone who is paying attention knows that he is probably very close to the truth - that there were millions of illegal votes cast for Hillary.
Hopefully he takes the initiative to fix our broken voting system when he takes office.
