Conversly, according to some, if the state and/or city were to have a referendum and vote to make sanctuary cities legal then it is it no longer a federal issue and they can’t intervene because...... of Federal Amendments. Or something.

It does require a distinction appearance for licenses issued to people "where the identity of the applicant cannot be assured or for whom lawful presence is not determined." But, it doesn't prohibit them from being issued.

All I know is that my state is going to be required to require me to get a driver’s license that is also a damned mandatory national I.D.
