Sunday Night Football Takes Massive Ratings Nosedive in Week 12 (CastroKaepernick?)
Breitbart ^ | 29 Nov 16 | Dylan Guinn

The NFL’s narrative that the elections ruined their ratings took a substantial blow on Monday when the overnight numbers for NBC’s Sunday Night Football became available.

Hint: they did not impress.

NBC’s broadcast of the Chiefs vs. Broncos on SNF came in a staggering 27 points behind last year’s Week 12 SNF matchup featuring the Patriots and the Broncos. Sure, Patriots-Broncos makes for a more compelling watch than Chiefs-Broncos, but does not justify a thirty-point ratings difference.

Not to mention the fact that the presidential election ended three weeks ago, which makes pinning the NFL’s woes on the “quadrennial silly season” all the more problematic.

I watched the game. They were both 7 and 4, fighting to stay in it with Oakland.

GREAT Great game.

I wont go to a game or buy products.

But unless one is not using amazon/netflix/google/microsoft/apple and just about any company that sells in mid eastern countries, they’re just making themselves feel better but committing the same hypocrisy.

It is what it is.

You're lucky. Mrs. Chandler is a Cardinals fan and boy do they stink this year.

I watched the Grey Cup on Sunday night.

Did not see any of the players sitting on their butts
during “Oh, Canada!”

Is the NFL EVER going to admit that the Kaepernik situation is more than a lot of NFL fans will tolerate?

Let the NFL ride their ratings all the way down because of Kaspernick. If they’re to stupid to do anything about it they deserve what’s coming. The football players are employees. There have to be parameters because they’re held to higher standards and looked up to by impressionable youths as idols who they’ll mimic “just because”. Kaspernick should be fined whenever he does anything that causes his team to be portrayed in a poor light. It’s bad for their image and causes them to lose money. It’s just a business decision.

The Family watched some of the Lion’s game on Thanksgiving. That is the extent of our viewing the National Felons League this season. The league’s Commishoner and the team owners better come to terms that most of US have had enough of the Anti-US sentiment and it will hurt them bad.

I pity the fools that are “addicted” to watching grown men play children’s games.

“They were both 7 and 4, fighting to stay in it with Oakland.”

Exactly, it was a somewhat big game as regular seasons game go. The game itself was not an excuse for the ratings drop.

I haven’t been watching the games this year, but flipping channels I briefly stopped on the Monday Night game and noticed Sean McDonogh had replaced Mike Tirico. I hadn’t heard about that.
