It’s not Global Warming! It’s Climate Change!!!

We are now entering a new ice age.....guess once the water reached NYC, it will freeze into a glacier....

We have time then to move the cities! Unless of course a global carbon tax can stop the ocean’s rise.

But what if we need the money spent on the global carbon tax (making the UN independent of its member states support) to move the cities to safety?

Papanek and Bucky Fuller would have loved the challenge of rationally redesigning our big cities, most of them grew haphazardly based on immediate need for access to shipping and water.

Here is a link to the map showing all of the areas that (as predicted in 2005) were going to suffer most from climate change in 2010.

https://wattsupwiththat.files.wordpress.com/2011/04/un_50million_11kap9climat.png

I’m sure we all remember the massive climate destruction in 2010. Millions of climate refugees. All those islands disappearing.

If you can’t remember all that happening, just refresh your memory by having a look at the map!

NASA Study: Mass Gains of Antarctic Ice Sheet Greater than Losses

A new NASA study says that an increase in Antarctic snow accumulation that began 10,000 years ago is currently adding enough ice to the continent to outweigh the increased losses from its thinning glaciers.

Ok, let’s assume this is true. The article states that sea levels could rise up to 10 feet in one hundred years.

If that’s the case, the rate (if constant) would be one foot every decade, or just over an inch per year.

Is a modern, technological society unable to cope with a sea level rise of one inch per year? If it isn’t, it deserves to be inundated.

I’m so disappointed. Our house is on a hill within sight of the ocean in SoCal. It is approximately 120 feet above sea level. A key part of my retirement plan is centered on the probable increase in the value of our home when it becomes oceanfront property. Algore promised me that would occur by 2020. Can I sue him to compensate me for the emotional distress caused by my dashed expectations?

Well, to be honest large areas of many US coastal cities are already "uninhabitable", or at least very dangerous.

You'll notice, they're getting smarter though. This time they've picked a date far enough in the future that they'll all be dead and won't have to defend their failure.

As long as the refugees from the coastal cities arriving in Pennsylvania are spread out to prevent PA from tipping over, I have no problem with this.
