Flip DOJ the finger. We do not have a hierarchy in law enforcement in this nation. The DOJ does not have supervisory authority over a local sheriffs dept.
They can file a lawsuit and that’s it.
Then after giving them the finger, give them lots of sunshine. Make sure everyone knows the names and addresses of the DOJ types who pushed this. Have press conferences that point out that the DOJ only employs citizens. Refer to them as the “all US citizen DOJ”. They count on fear based compliance and that they can hide in the dark, so take both away.
