A few years ago, on a flight from DCA to DFW, I was sitting in First Class, row 3, Seat B (bulkhead).
As the jet was closing the door to begin pre-flight briefs, Shelia trundled on-board. She was carrying a huge over-stuffed roll-on.
The overhead bins were are full so she shuffled her fat butt in front of me to take her window seat and held the over-stuffed bag under her left leg. . .trying to hide it.
Stewardesss saw this and told her she must stow the bag in an overhead bin, and absent room, must be checked.
Shelia was arrogant and rude, waving her embossed House of Representative file folder in the stewardesses face, demanding her bag stay with her and to take another passengers bag and check it instead of her bag.
Stewardess was having none of that and Shelia was getting loud and more rude (the classic “do you know who I am”. . .not an exact quote but that was the message).
Eventually she was directed to hand over the bag or de-plane.
She gave up her bag and threatened to complain about the stewardesses rude treatment.

Same thing with Hank Johnson’s district. You’d think the people would be so embarrassed, and yet, they arent’t. Must be all the free stuff they get.
