Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has already announced the Canadian government’s willingness to renegotiate NAFTA.

His party and Parliament have indicated otherwise.

Apologies to any Canadian Freepers, but Canada has had the benefit of living in Mommy’s attic all her life. Because of our shared border they have not had to deal with the economic burden of fielding a military responsible for the bulk of her defense.

“His party and Parliament have indicated otherwise. “

Doesn’t matter. If the US wants a new deal, we get a new deal.

It’s called unilateral negotiations. We get what we want or we don’t play the game anymore.

No country in the world is more dependent on access to the US market than Canada, and Mexico is second. If either fails to make a deal they are ruined, soon to be desolate.
