PITTSBURGH (KDKA) — Donald Trump won Pennsylvania by just 71,000 votes out of 5.8 million votes cast.
But his one percent victory over Hillary Clinton was enough to avoid the state’s automatic recount triggered when a vote margin is less than one-half percent.
"I’m looking to get an accurate count on the vote,” Weslee Hursh of Centerville Borough told KDKA political editor Jon Delano on Monday.
Hursh filed a petition at the Washington County Elections Bureau to recount the ballots in her precinct even though she’s not alleging any fraud by the Trump campaign.
“That’s not the purpose of this,” says Hursh. “The purpose of this is to make sure that the election was true.”
Via social media, Green Party nominee Dr. Jill Stein urged Pennsylvania voters to file recount petitions.
“Pennsylvania is the only state in which the recount process has to be initiated by actually thousands of voters,” Stein says in her video.
Filing a petition to challenge an election result, to get a recount, in the whole state of Pennsylvania is almost next to impossible.
As citizens in western Pennsylvania are quickly discovering, it’s a very, very complicated process.
“You realize that this has to have three electors, and I only see two,” Washington County assistant elections director Wesley Parry told Hursh on Monday. . .

I'm not sure "theater" is the word. This recount stuff has got my dander up. Remember how they were all over Trump for not guaranteeing he'd accept the results? And now this. The worst sort of acting up and trouble making. Of course, they never saw it coming. But it certainly exposes them as the worst sort of spineless and soulless hypocrites there ever were. I could just spit.

Since the left is so enamored with Castro and his revolution one way Trump could get the left on board is to round them up, set up firing squads and assassinate dissenters, imprison others like Clinton and the DNC as political prisoners, restrict movement of others and separate families.
Hopefully we can double down on victory as Jill’s wacky SJW supporters perjure themselves on the affidavits and go straight to jail!

I do see a backfire.
Trump campaigned on getting the illegals OUT of the USA.
Now—with all the demands for recounts, it gives momentum to Trump cleaning house in all 3144 counties in the USA.
“You want to call for recounts—and recounts—and recounts??? Then we will find ALL the mischief that the Dems have been up to. We will FREEZE the existing voter rolls & we will start over. We will use the existing voter rolls to find the people who voted illegally & we will prosecute them—AND deport them FOR LIFE”.
“We will start with CALIFORNIA and we will aggressively prosecute anyone who has been a part of improper registrations & for keeping dead people on the rills, etc. We will not allow the fraudulent voting to continue in the USA & there will be Law & Order on this topic.”
There are plenty of talented people in this country who can do forensic auditing of registered voters—exactly WHO they are—and WHO voted—absentee of in person.
Illegals are coming here without permission & then they are registering to vote -—this is voter fraud, and everyone knows it.
