Earlier reports said that a fire alarm has been triggered and students were evacuating the building when the perpetrator drove into the crowd.
Has that been confirmed or refuted? Did the alarm precede or follow the attack?
If it preceded the attack, that's almost certainly evidence of the involvement of someone else. It seems much more than a coincidence.
An excellent point.
The possibility of one or more accomplices is a circumstantial likelihood, n'est ce pas?
.
The alarm was pulled first, which caused the students to congregate. Fortunately, the alarm also caused the policeman to be on hand and shoot the perp dead within 1 minute.
Despicable. He could have paid a kid on a bike to yank the fire alarm at a specific time or he had a partner.
Either way, everybody would dutifully empty the building because that’s what we’ve been taught since kindergarten but with no smoke or flames everybody would just stand around outside of the building waiting for the all clear.
Ready to be plowed through. Under such a setup it is wonder many more were not injured/killed.
Sick twisted cult.
From the accounts I have read, the alarm was pulled 20-30 minutes before the attack.
He could have done it himself and had time to go back out to his car. On the other hand, the alarm may have had nothing to do with it. He may have just been driving around looking for large groups of people and happened to come upon this one.
