In Law Enforcement and Judicial circles this is known as a FISHING EXPEDITION.
Stein has no standing to get a re-count, she is only using the system to gain cash. Trump is correct, this is nothing more than a scam to raise money.
Any court should demand a specific and evidence backed charge to present to a court before ANY re-count should begin. Wisconsin has indicated they be paid upfront before a their counting starts. (Smart move there)
If anything, this re-count should be able to dig into how many illegals have been allowed to vote.
Everyone knows this is a fight to get Hillary to win, and it seems the judges are on board with that. This is going to be a very tough battle for Trump's lawyers for sure.
Rush just said if recount manages to hold up or disallow electoral votes the number Trump needs reduces from 270 to whatever the relative number would be. So ha ha ha their little scheme won’t work.
I think one type of redress deadline was missed (voter initiated filing), but she can take it to court instead?
Stein filed a lawsuit in Pa. “contesting” the election as illegal and has found 100 voters to back her petition to the court. She has a higher standard of proof she needs to meet in getting the judge to order a recount and Pa vote machines have no paper trail. She and the 100 voters are risking perjury and fraud charges in asserting that they have proof of fraudulent voting so she is a bit ballsy in trying to go this route!
Agreed. Thanks.
It was “illegal” because she didn’t like the outcome. Got it.
Must be removed to fed court.
The court papers filed allege “the Nov. 8 election was illegal and the results inaccurate based on research suggesting there might have been irregularities with electronic voting machines, among other evidence.”
Well, the law requires a showing of prima facia evidence that fraud and deceit occurred on a widespread basis. That there “might have been irregularities” isn’t close to meeting the standard.
Also the attorney said voters “feel” the results are invalid in some precincts are invalid. Liberals love to substitute feelings for facts but in this case that amounts to little.
The lawyers for the Stein/Clinton effort are asking that a judge declare the election “illegal”. There are plenty of corrupt Dem judges, but that’s asking them to go out on a pretty long limb, especially given that PA election officials are flat out stating there was no fraud.
She is deluded and on the path to destruction.
“PA SOS apparently said its too late. Deadline was 21 November.”
She can protest that.
She’s not filing the lawsuit. It’s 100 voters filing the lawsuit saying that they have sufficient evidence that they have been defrauded by faulty voting machines.
Every county is different. I live in Chester County, and we use paper ballots (color in the dots, like an SAT test) which are fed into a scanner, by the voter, under the supervision of an election volunteer. So we kind of have both. The paper ballots could be fed back into the scanner for a recount. Jill The Shill would want the dots counted by "hand", which of course would be more accurate than a machine, LOL...
Wealthy liberal suburban Philly county, controlled by butt hurt Democrats...
Thanks !!! Read and it appears the only chance she has if a judge agrees with her contesting the results.
Well, again, she’s not asking for a recount specifically, she’s asking the entire election be declared illegal. That’s her only avenue since she missed the recount deadline. She is allowed by law to ask the election be declared illegal, but she has to present clear evidence that widespread fraud occurred. Just saying she or her supporters have concerns about fraud is a long, long was from showing clear evidence fraud occurred.
Trump now has more than enough justification for instigating a comprehensive review of voting processes, including the validity of all voter lists; and to push through mandatory voter photo-ID. He can (rightly) say that he’s just following through on what Stein, and her Democrat enablers started.
For instance, if it turns out that voting machines made by Soros are fraudulent — haul Soros before a Congressional committee to explain why.
How much did they pay those 100 voters?
