Real Estate professionals - had BETTER abide by generally-accepted rules, and especially contracts, because there are severe penalties for not doing so. Also, getting a reputation as someone who constantly tries to change the rules, or who stiffs everyone every chance he gets, loses you all kinds of great opportunities in the future. IOW, it PAYS to have honor in this profession.
Dictator, Communist - there ARE no rules, except the ones you want. Someone disagrees, you have them imprisoned or shot. You can change your mind any time, and can even go back and literally air-brush history if you’d like to “prove” that you had Position B (which is really new) all along, rather than Position A (which you had all along until you changed your mind). You have the backing of the entire Soviet Empire (that particular offer expired in 1991), and the sympathies of Leftists everywhere - particularly in the American news media, American educational institutions and large swaths of the American government. IOW, there’s no particular need for honor, and having honor actually handicaps your ability to be an effective (read: long-lived) Communist dictator.

IIRC the enviro-nazis that spiked trees in No CA, OR & WA back some 25 years ago or so were suspected of being Sierra Club members as well and other enviro groups.

I did not consider that angle. Yes, you are absolutely right.
No wonder Castro is a hero to the Sierra Club. El Generalissimo (or whatever was his title) did yeoman's work in the reduction of Cuba's 'Carbon Footprint' by eliminating large swathes of carbon dioxide emitting humans, and minimizing the use of combustible engines.
Let's make sure that the Sierra Club doesn't make any decisions for any of us. If they want to get rid of their cars, and live in unheated shacks - more power to them...
