Some "active shooter" training uses this instead of the "shelter in place" methodology. They are VERY careful with their wording but basically say if you have have the means and the opportunity to take down the assailant to do it.
I would prefer "blow his brains out when he turns the corner" method but of course no doubt he is in a "Fish in a barrel" "gun free zone" so once again people will lose their lives thanks to the insane policies of the left who think it's all one big joke to deny the US citizen their constitutional right to self defense.

They oppose any attempt to allow real weapons to fight back on campus, but we are supposed to go up against an armed attacker with our fingernails.
