Morning Joe: Trump ‘Furious’ at Kellyanne Conway Going ‘Rogue’ With Romney Criticism
Legal Insurrection ^ | Mark Finkelstein

Posted on 11/28/2016 6:02:03 AM PST by governsleastgovernsbest

When I suggested yesterday that Kellyanne Conway was being “less than loyal” to Donald Trump by sharply criticizing Mitt Romney on the Sunday shows, some readers took issue, surmising that Trump himself had encouraged Conway’s attacks.

But today’s Morning Joe reported as Breaking News that two sources at the top of the transition say that Trump is “furious” at Conway for her comments, notably her suggestion that Trump had “betrayed” his supporters by considering Romney for Secretary of State. The sources described Conway as having gone “rogue.” Scarborough read a response from Conway in which she called the comments “sexist” and claimed she could have “any job she wants” in the Trump administration. Who are the “sources?”

Luckily, most of the reports/rumors about appointees from 'inside sources' have proved to be wrong.

I wonder whether Team Trump is just yanking chains by dribbling rumors, knowing the media will bite at anything.

How about two imaginary source make crap up! If Trump was mad at Kellyanne he would fire her.

Kellyanne is too much of a professional to go rogue. This was a well-planned message from the Trump team.

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

The media has been 180 degrees wrong on all things Trump for the last year & a half & Kellyanne has pretty much been ‘pitch perfect’ throughout once she came on board the Trump Train. She knew what she was doing yesterday & I’d bet money that Trump did as well.

The media “talking heads”, with their disgraceful performance regarding Trump & the election, have proved they don’t know any more than “us regular folks” & in fact, I think ‘we the people’ have the definite edge because they badly misjudged us as well. I have decided that rather than going down every false rabbit hole & conflict the media fabricates so they have something “exciting” to talk about on a daily basis, I am ignoring them and patiently waiting for TRUMP to announce what he’s doing .... from the horse’s mouth, actions speak louder than words, & all that.

Nothing on PMSNBC can be taken seriously. Joe and Mika should go shack up together on a tropical isle and leave us alone. Oh, wait, I don’t watch those clowns anyway.....

Or this is another of Trump’s brilliant manuvers.

I have been thinking this is Trump's way of marginalizing Romney, and showing the establishment R donors why he can't choose him.

And also, could it be possible that the Trump team is giving out misleading leaks to Morning Joe?

First lesson in college-level Freshman Composition regarding the nebulous 'they':

Perky Katie Couric frequently used 'some say ...' and 'there are those who say ...' but she failed to identify who 'they' were.

I think this whole Romney show was a brilliant slap in the face. Immediately following election Trump reaches out to Romney... a signal to never Trumpers - and Romney comes running. A principled man wouldn’t have. Trump suggests Romney for SOS... but notice he hasn’t offered. It’s been weeks. Meanwhile Romney twists in the wind and everyone attacks him. Giving Trump the political cover he needs to say, “well, I tried but the Country, and the Party, is too raw. It’s a win win for Trump, for Romney? Not so much.

yeah, these stupid threads are about all the attention that anyone pays to Joe and Mika. I would not know they exist were it not for the FR threads bemoaning their stoopid show.

“I suppose, he’s furious at Newt and Huckabee also?”

Also, Chris Collins, first US Rep who endorsed Trump, and who jumped all over Romney during his interview with Chris Cuomo this morning.

Trump has written a little play called “Eff Around With Mitt” and Kelly Anne is just playing her part. Payback is a beotch!

Unnamed sources are not sources at all. This is just another attempt to paint the Trump team as disorganized, etc, etc.

They are trying mittens in public. Trump has a lot of experience in the world of wrestling and in reality tv so I have no doubt that this could all be planned theater. Like a piñata, they have hung him high and are beating him with what sticks.

>> these two dumb*sses in the morning.

It’s a lot more than two. Barnacle, Halperin, Deutsch, Ford, Geist, Ratner, Robinson and a lot of other regulars.

I believe she should hold his feet to the fire to keep his campaign promises and encourage him to not allow traitors in his administration.

I also believe she should do it in private.

Bad move. Very bad move.

I like Romney for head of the VA.

It’s a wonderful opportunity for someone with his skills to fix it. And chance for Romney to *prove* himself.

two sources at the top of the transition team chirped to Morning Joe?

It does not get any more “top of” than Kellyanne and Bannon.
