This is why America has a 2nd Amendment.

Try this in Sicily and see what happens.

Isn't protection from constant invasion how the Mafia got started in the first place?

Merkel ordered German citizens to give up their homes and now the insanity has reached Italy.

"I would burn down my home before I would let this happen."

So would I. Seems their government is literally picking people up off the Libyan beaches and forcing them onto the property of private citizens. Unbelievable.

We protected by the 3rd Amendment from the government quartering soldiers in our houses, but does that protect us from the government quartering 3rd world migrants?

It should, but I don't put anything past our squalid political class, particularly the lunatics in the media, academia and the religious Left. In my view any government that even advocates such an outrage should be done away with by whatever means.

The 4th Amendment should protect us from this too. Illegal seizure of property.

Evidently not. From Wikipedia:

In the most recent Third Amendment decision handed down by a federal court, on February 2, 2015, the United States District Court for the District of Nevada held in Mitchell v. City of Henderson that the Third Amendment does not apply to intrusions by municipal police officers since they are not soldiers.

That is a very liberal decision. So since the amendment only says soldiers, then anyone else who works for the government can be allowed to take quarter in my home? Hell, they can put sailors and marines in my house since it doesn’t say them?

If you’re going to lose your home anyway, at least wait until it has a full load of enemies residing in it before torching it. At night. While they sleep.

Thought of visiting the Piemont area of north Italy where my wifes grand folks came from.
I am fearful of going anywhere in Europe.
