Sleep well, Donald? Trump launches furious morning Twitter rant at Hillary, accusing her of hypocrisy for refusing to accept election result after she said she would join in Wisconsin recount

Stein was trounced as a Green Party candidate in the November 8 election

She is demanding a recount in Pennsylvania, Michigan and Wisconsin

Claims electronic voting machines in all three states were untrustworthy

Trump has dismissed her crowdfunding plan as a 'scam'

Donald Trump launched into a furious Twitter rant Sunday morning, calling Hillary Clinton a hypocrite for joining Jill Stein's call for recounts in three key election states.

Clinton's team said on Saturday that it would be part of a recount initiated by Stein in Wisconsin, and would support recounts in Michigan and Pennsylvania.

Trump responded Sunday morning with a six-tweet-long screed in which he held up Clinton quotes from before and after the election, in which she called his own similar remarks about election recounts 'horrifying.'

HE won’t prosecute her personally, that’s not the job of the President, there is an ongoing investigation right now, he won’t stop it, and HIS DOJ will be in charge.

The Beast and BJ fully understand the subtext of his statement.

I also agree he should push for Haiti and other countries to start investigations

I still think the FBI would do a better job. Their only problem was a DOJ that thwarted their every move, and a Director that participated too much in political BS. Though I would have to wonder exactly what kind of threats were made to Comey.

We can’t do anything now, we have to wait for Trump to take office and then let his people do their jobs...I think this was a message to his people to get ready...you know he likes to hit the ground running...

Why exactly did you feel the need to add "Sleep well, Donald?" to the title? Or has it change since you posted this?

Trump can always go back to his original position on a special prosecutor for Hillary.

I had planned on changing my tagline, but it looks like the stealing witch of November is back in full force.

But why would Haiti start anything now? I’m pretty sure they are smart enough to realize this DOJ would find nothing, because it doesn’t want to find anything. They themselves are powerless to do anything, even if they found her guilty within their system. It’s not like Obama is going to honor a request for extradition. I’m not even sure Trump would, only because it sets a precedent that may ensnare him when and if the Democrats retake the White House.

I'm trying to look at this whole recount thing logically.

1. Jill Stein gained only about 1% of the popular vote.

2. Jill Stein is demanding a recount in three "blue" states won by Donald Trump.

3. The recount will in no way benefit Jill Stein's campaign.

4. In a few days, Stein's recount effort raised more money than her campaign raised during the entire duration of the campaign.

5. Obama and the Clinton campaign initially (publicly) distanced themselves from any recount effort.

6. Hillary's campaign has now joined in the recount effort.

7. In the week leading up to the filing of the recount petition, the media was full of stories about "fake news" and "Russian involvement" in the election. A theme was being laid out that Trump was illegitimately swept into power via the machinations of a foreign power.

8. A previously unknown organization of "computer and national-security experts" surfaced to offer presumed "substantiation" for the arguments made in #7, and this organization was immediately given a platform in the Washington Post.

These and other facts lead me to conclude that Jill Stein is a surrogate for other interests, and that she was chosen to distance her movement from the people who are actually behind it: globalists and financiers allied with the Democratic Party and international socialism.

I also conclude that there is some coordination between this movement and the media, and that the watchword is: Trump must not be allowed to take office, by any means necessary. This election cannot stand.

I therefore take this recount effort very seriously, and would not be surprised if tens of thousands of votes, virtually all of them pro-Hillary - suddenly emerge. This whole thing sounds like a coup d'etat in the making, a coordinated effort to overturn the election.

I would agree...just go ahead and let the public know that a special prosecutor will be appointed to check out the Clinton Foundation. She will stop her political games at that point and quietly go back home.

Bad response from the Donald.

Aggressors prevail and manage the history of their actions after they win.

Trump should say that if significant delay results, he is going to reconsider his views about the priority of prosecution of the obvious National Security Law violations by the Clinton’s and their allies.

I respectfully disagree. The DOJ is not an instrument to use for political reasons as we have seen in the past. The DOJ represents “justice for all” and it must be apolitical. The truth is the truth about the Clinton foundation. The truth is the truth about her failure to protect classified information. The American people, at least half the country, would simply like to know the truth. The Haitian people (and every day Americans who donated to help them) would like to know the truth.

Offering a quid pro quo involving legitimate investigations for a political or legal action would be a horrible mistake.

Anything he does at this point will be tainted to the opposition, but he just needs to tell the DOJ to do their jobs as he promised he would. He DOES NOT need to comment on anything of the sort until after the results are given. This was the mistake Obama made because it reeked of “command influence” and we all (correctly) called him on it.

Well, let’s see how this plays out. Trump had a lot of volunteer poll watchers and an 800 number to phone in suspicious voter polling activity. We haven’t heard anything about those results yet. We also haven’t heard much from True the Vote who had a very similar campaign, especially in the swing states.

It’s been very quiet. We all know how much the Democrats rely upon voter fraud from illegal aliens voting, dead people voting and bussing/driving around voters to vote multiple times under multiple different names, not to mention voting machine fraud.

I wonder exactly how much dirt he has to fling should he be forced to do so.
