Why? WHY do people do this?
At least 15 years ago, I went to some of these sales with Sisters-In-Law, when the kids were little (they stayed with Grandma) so we could get good deals on toys for the Kiddies.
It wasn’t insane like it is today. You couldn’t get me in a Mall this time of year for love nor money.

Why do the stores egg this behavior on, and why do people keep falling for it? I know some people have to make every penny count, but deals and discounts are available all through the year and there are no shortages of consumer goods in the USA. No need to risk life, limb and arrest.
