The problem for Michelle is that she needs to avoid “festive” clothing. She needs solid colors and classic styles.

That’s exactly what I was thinking. No respect for the country. And as far as the outfit, my mother a WWII vet who went to be with Jesus a few years ago and New York Barbizon model in the old days would have had a fit if I ever donned an outfit like that.
One of the two (spoiled/self-absorbed) brats was claimed/excused/explained away from the ceremony by “being asleep” ... Gee, what would she have said if Trump’s kid “slept in” on a “state occasion”?

Yes, it’s incredibly disrespectful. This, and their absence at the turkey pardoning, corny as it is, reveal they no longer need to make a show of civility and tradition since there’s no votes to be gained by it. Snotty pretentious teens with no class. Mom and Granny Freeloader will be proud.
It won’t be long before they learn that they are OWED something in life instead of earning it due to their heritage.

This notion that Michelle Obama is some type of fashion icon is total garbage. Everytime I’m at the grocery store, there’s a dozen magazines with her on it. I’ll withhold further comments as I value my FR membership.
