Why The 'Poorly Educated' Love Donald Trump Back

Donald Trump spent much of his election campaign raging against groups he doesn’t like; Muslims, the media, Mexicans and the rest. But there’s at least one group he’s a fan of. “I love the poorly educated!” the president-elect to be declared after pulling off a victory in the Nevada caucus of the Republican primary.

Now, an analysis of his shock election victory shows the feeling was mutual.

It was “education, not income,” that was the strongest predictor of a vote for Trump, according to the polling analyst Nate Silver.

They are still stuck on the "we're smarter" you should "eat your peas" meme. Idiots. Simple psychological "projection" ... Because they are idiots, they believe we are idiots, after all they cannot understand us.

So the blacks and Hispanics who make up a large portion of Democrats are considered ‘highly educated’?

Exactly. Statistically they are far less educated than whites, but the media keeps pounding the "less educated" white voters for Trump.

Gee....funny how the Democrats don’t have a problem with the [many] poorly educated voters who support them. In their pointy heads, that is only natural, because those poor are minorities voting for free stuff.

The young and educated have great ideals about how things should be. The rest of us have an all too good understanding of how things are.

Yes, indeed.
What makes me shake my head sometimes is that we are the healthiest, safest, most educated nation on the planet, in ALL time. YET we bellyache, moan, groan, complain, whine, winge and otherwise expression CONTINUAL unhappiness or distress at the "problems" that "beset" us.

*Aw, was your cafe latte not foamy enough?

*****Did your dentist NOT have the date/time YOU wanted to check and clean your teeth?

They are flailing to grasp at anything but the truth to rationalize their resounding defeat.

Since Obama they’ve lost the House, the Senate, state legislatures, governorships and soon the Supreme Court.

Their worldview was rejected and they must concoct a fiction to cling onto other than “hey, our ideas really are wrong” so we will have articles like this until forever.

Your friends from Princeton and Yale are almost certainly over mis-educated. Those schools,as have almost all of the higher education entities in this country just plain oust or marginalize those of a conservative bent.

There is nothing healthier for the human person than exposure to vigorous arguments in the public sphere about all types of philosophies and opinions. Sigh.

LOL. Me too, but that will never happen. See my post #24.

I did three years in a Ph.D. program in Anthropology before abandoning academia in disgust. Guess if I’d just finished that dissertation, my mind would have been properly melted enough to absorb liberalism. (Upon reflection, it might have! Ghastly experience.)

Yes, It would seem that there are an endless stream of explanations for why people who are falling behind in their economic pursuits and jumped for the concept of a guy who said he would bring back jobs did this. It couldn’t just be that the “educated” decided that saving the earth was a higher priority than putting food on the table. (Malthus be damned).

If the Democrats were so smart, why did they not see that a few jobs scattered here and there would have killed the Trump movement before it got started.

Myself, I was raised to believe that anyone who worked for a living was a good man/woman. No mater if their clothes wer out of fashion or dirty and stained. This concept is lost on the “well educated”.

Most of us have more intelligence, and education in our little finger than these so-called journalists have in their whole body. The media is a group of individuals who believe themselves to be so much smarter, and better than the rest of us. Because of their arrogance, they don’t believe that anyone who voted for Trump could possibly have an education, or the ability to think for themselves. It’s that condescending attitude, and their inability to report the news without their own bias being added, is what is destroying journalism. Today, the liberal network news channels, and the liberal rags that call themselves newspapers, are no different than tabloid publications who are known for basing stories on rumor, gossip, and innuendo...or outright lies. They’re one and the same now.
