THE MUSIC MAIDS, FRED ASTAIRE & ELEANOR POWELL: “BEGIN THE BEGUINE”

MGM’s Broadway Melody musicals wrapped in 1940 with a film featuring Fred Astaire and Eleanor Powell of the famous high kick. This clip from the film starts with the girls singing, and then Fred and Eleanor tap dance their way through the number. That tap dancing cadenza before the coda is just amazing.
