I was going by the state elections recount guide which permits the objections to the recount itself.

yes.
I think if she were really SERIOUSLY trying to get a recount, she would have supplied a big pile of ALLEGED irregulaties (in order to give the State of WI a ‘reason’ for a recount, as provided for by its own rules)

Indeed, that would seem to be the usual procedure...for any serious requests for recounts

I think she wouldn’t object to a recount but she has no basis (as she’s openly acknowledged)... and the whole thing is a charade for raising millions more money for her, period.
we will see....soon enough I guess.....thanks.

Anybody knows the recount must proceed if the petition is received, or subject to decision of the WI state election authorities?

It is ridiculous for a 1% candidate to get a recount. Pure foolishness or a plot to keep a recount going past date of electoral college gathering or a scheme to cheat.

I wouldn't care if a losing candidate asked for a recount. But picking only select states that, if flipped, would result in a win for another candidate smells of shenanigans.

Funny you should mention the sore loserman thing. I was wearing a sore loserman t-shirt while waiting in the security check point line at the Tampa Bay International Airport. This was right after the election where Gore lost to Bush.

The black female security agent was scanning down the line of people to “randomly” choose people for secondary screenings, when I watched her eyes drop down to my t-shirt see the sore loserman logo look up at my face back down to my t-shirt and then back up to my face and then point for me to leave the line and go for a secondary more extensive security search.

I actually laughed put loud at the incident.

If these three states’ electors can’t vote, or there are competing slates of electoral votes presented to Congress and there is a deadlock for some reason (nobody has 270), Trump wins in the House of Representatives. I don’t understand this.

The problem as I can see is that while indeed, Trump still has more EV’s than Clinton if you throw out WI, PA and OH’s combined vote total (48, which leaves 258 for Trump and 232 for Clinton), the problem I see is what Stephenc described, which was/is, if they delay and obfuscate through the courts the results of those states long enough, then neither candidate has 270, which is what is needed to win. So the race won’t be official until someone reaches 270 officially, that is through the Electoral College.

So the nightmare scenario here is this: the leftists count and recount until the Dec 19 deadline is past, the Electoral College can’t vote to elect Trump officially (since recounts are still ongoing) and so they (the leftists) keep counting and recounting until they get the results they want, i.e., Clinton.

Personally, it seems to me the mother of all long-shots, couldn’t get more remote in terms of chances of succeeding. But that’s the only end-game I can see here for them and their efforts.

It’s either that, or they haven’t thought it through at all, and are just doing this out of spite and hate, which of course is itself a possibility as this is the left we are talking about here. And nothing but their way is acceptable. Like a 2 year old without any capability to reason and accept defeat.

I just hope Trump is keeping an eye on these shenanigans; with the left these days, nothing is assured until Jan 20. Even then who knows what devious trick they will try.

PHOOEY!!!!

The whole “Recount2016”, and the excessive fundraising, is a totally bogus Soros operation. That is especially true in Michigan—no voting machines, and it just completed a recount this week on its own!!!!

Having participated in several legitimate crowdfunding operations, I in no way believe that the funds received were from ordinary people. They were from wealthy political “donors”. That is the only way so much could be raised so quickly!

And the money may at least in part be used for other things than “recounts”—read the fine print!!!! That’s why they keep raising more and more money. I’m almost certain that they will ask for even more next week!

Jill Stein, MD should go back to the practice of medicine, which is an honorable profession. Serving as a Soros-backed traitor is not!!!!

It’s probably the reason Trump is bringing in all the generals and NatSec people first. To hold off a coup.

But even so if the state does not count fast enough, they cannot certify the results before the EC votes, and thus WI 10 votes are lost to DJT - same for PA (20) and MI (16) - which with the addition of several ‘faithless” EC electors might swing the election to HRC and the start of the next civil war which the lefties, with Soros and 0bama, would just love.

DJT has 306-46 =260
Clinton has 232

Result is the election goes to House. DJT would have a likely win.

Or, if somehow HRC et al manage to put those vote in her column 232+46=278, then she’s President and the next civil was begins.

Someone I know in Wisconsin who was a supporter of the Walker recall was also supporting Stein. I suspect it’s the Madison/unionista cabal behind this.

I`ve been hearing reports that Hillary may have stolen up to five states, although I haven`t heard the details on which ones, or what the proof is. Supposedly the fraud in those states alone was enough to steal a popular vote victory from Trump. Perhaps it`s time that we start our own petitions to recount those states.

Stein needs to attest the following. Its not a very high bar and there is no language that suggests the election board or a judge will decide.

The basis for requesting the recount.
This can consist of a general statement that the petitioner believes that a mistake or fraud was committed in a specified ward or municipality in the counting and return of the votes cast for the office; or more specific grounds, such as a particular defect, irregularity, or illegality in the conduct of the election, may be listed in the petition.

The petitioner shall state if this information is based on personal knowledge of the petitioner or if the petitioner believes the information to be true based on information received from other sources.
Wis. Stat. § 9.01(1)(a)2.b.
