At Englishrussia .com you can see what they do with their older tanks ,they abandon them ,the country is full of abandoned Military stuff
To: Fennie
Russia already has 15,000 tanks in serviceIvan has a interesting way of counting tanks. They will count any tank in storage with zero consideration of the actual usability of the vehicle. The Soviets claimed they had 25,000 tanks when the Germans invaded. A large portion of them were obsolete, rusted out, and unusable.

Well to be fair, Britain is a small island and has subjugated all of the competition and threats.
Russia.....a tad larger.

I would note that the title says 3000 NEW tanks.
The body of the article says 3000 USED/OLD tanks were sent to be REFURBISHED.

I’ll be impressed when they can actually build 3,000 T-14’s.

With out the help of Obama for the last eight years they wouldn’t be able to buy 3,000 of the war machines.

The upgraded T-72 acquitted itself quite well in The Donbas. I suspect the T-80 series will as well.

well....Russia is primarily a land power, and has to defend itself on land.
UK is (or was) primarily a sea power.
Tanks are the antithesis of Ivory Soap; they tend to sink in the sea. They are therefore less useful for UK than for Russia.
