WHOA! Students Who Skipped School To Riot Against Trump Just Got HORRIFIC News

Anti-Trump millennial snowflakes who skipped class to go protest the outcome of the presidential election just got some really bad news. Patriots across America, we now have proof common sense is still alive on at least one college campus!

Oberlin College in Ohio is not excusing students who skipped classes and exams to go protest against President-Elect Donald Trump. Failing grades due to missed work during the semester due to protesting, will not be suspended, Cleveland.com reports.

Anti-Trump students at Oberlin College circulated a petition to urge the college to institute a “no-fail mercy period.” The petition reportedly garnered 1,300 signatures.

If the Ohio college had agreed to the demands of their snowflakes, all failing grades would be removed from their record.

The lowest possible grade a student could receive, no matter how poorly they did or how much work they missed, was a “C.”

Oberlin College President Marvin Krislov responded to the students’ petition via email on Sunday. He bluntly informed them that the college’s deans have decided not to give them any mercy period after giving the matter its due consideration.

"Sadly, this should have been a given."

Or as I view it, where's the personal sacrifice for protesting if the school had allowed it?

These snowflakes have no earthly idea what the meaning of sacrifice is. They go to these things to look like they're cool and otherwise hang out with their friends.

There's no real fear of any repercussions from any of their activities. If you believe in a cause, then that cause is worth sacrificing for. That means you walk out of class, you don't make grades, but you accept that your cause is so important to you.

When the apologists excuse their behavior, or establish a pattern of REWARDING their behavior, the "protest" just becomes a bunch of chatter.

I'm a staunch conservative, but if I had had such an opportunity to hide poor coursework by protesting conservatives, I would have jumped at the chance.

Anything for a day off. At that age, anyway.

These brats aren't motivated by political ideology. This is all a ploy for partying and not answering for it.

My first two degrees were earned at private Christian colleges. Not only would they have not pardoned my failures, they also would have expelled all offending students.

Most grad schools grade A,B, and C only.
C is failing.

I remember when I was in school. They did away with “D.” A student was then just given an “F” because you were going to have to take the class again either way.

Far too many people enrolled in colleges today have no interest in learning anything useful, and certainly no interest in working a real job. Hopefully this bodes well for my children; the competition doesn’t look too tough...

Just like the rest of the left, they didn’t understand that they are supposed to do their job. It’s not okay to skip looking for a job because you have welfare. It’s not okay to skip school work because you want to throw a tantrum. This is the real world, and results matter. I love it when losers get what they deserve.

Perhaps they could at least give protesting special snowflakes some participation trophies, coloring books and some Play-d’oh

oh wait... they already did that, ugh.

That would be my kids. Thanks for the compliments. One just got an internship at NASA. He has to buy clothes today to meet their dress code. Never a question.

If you are going to forge steel to make something useful at some point it must be shaped by force.
If only more adults were around to love the young enough to discipline them.

Too many colleges are in it for the sports or the revenue streams.

In the 80s/90s, my cousin worked as an English "Professor" at LSU. The sole reason for her hire was to teach black freshmen football players how to read and write.

I graduated in 1969 from a small city college with a bachelor’s degree in engineering. The lowest math class offered was Math 132, remedial algebra, which was a no credit class. The first math class which offered credit was Math 181, calculus. What they give college credits for now is shocking. Worked with someone who got credit for taking a class in “how to get a job”.

But we are doing better as a nation now because more people are getting college degrees./s

These raging snowflakes are getting a life lesson about actions and consequences. When they find out that the teachers who encouraged them into those actions will face no consequences they’ll also get a bonus lesson on making decisions based on questionable information.

I had a class win 1972 where a very special event was occurring in the city and a few students had event tickets and asked the professor if they could be excused from class to attend. she said absolutely not and if they missed the test On that it could not be made up.

DAy came and the professor did not show up for class because SHE managed to get a ticket! One angry set of students!

“The petition reportedly garnered 1,300 signatures.”

Well, at least we know how many students knew they were going to fail.

The “Trump Effect” is taking hold.

I believe we'll start seeing more of this in colleges and Corporate America. FINALLY, we have someone with a backbone in charge and the weaker sisters will start to emulate him.

I had a political science professor who on the first day of class told us that we all were starting out with an F and that we had to work our way up from there.

If they felt that strongly about Trump, SHOULDN’T they be willing to make some personal sacrifice taking a stand?? So they want to oppose him, so long as it doesn’t cost them anything. Impressive.
