You like that government control thing, don’t you?
Better to reduce and reform government control and make it impossible for another Obamanation to happen.

How could CNN be “increasingly negative?” If CNN could do that it would draw Secret Service attention.

1. Are you saying that allowing alacarte is restricting freedom? - nonsense
2. Are you saying CNN is really a news outfit? - nonsense

I am saying that telling cable companies what they must offer is certainly restricting freedom.
And what does CNN have to do with my post?
To: diogenes ghost
I’m not telling them what channels to offer. I’m telling them that they must give their customers the option of rejecting specific stations. That’s what alacarte means. No ‘package deals’ only. You only pay for what you really want.

"I'm not telling them what channels to offer....No 'package deals' only."
Of course you are TELLING them what they MUST sell.
Let the free market judge their offerings.
Even Henry Ford eventually eventually gave up on "any color you want, as long as it's black".

I did not say that. I said that the individual customer should have the right to not have to pay for a specific station that they do not want.
This is what happens when all you are offered is package deals.
You are confusing the cable outlet’s rights with the customers rights.
