Jill Stein’s guilty conscience

Jill Stein must be feeling guilty. AFP reports:

The former Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein has raised the necessary $1.1 million to request a vote recount in Wisconsin, her campaign announced Thursday.

The Midwestern state was a key battleground in the November 8 election, helping propel the Republican President-elect Donald Trump past his Democratic rival Hillary Clinton to a victory that shocked the nation.

Donald Tump won Wisconsin by 22,000, but the Green Party won 31,000 votes in the state. In Michigan, Trump won by 11,000, but Stein got 51,000. In Pennsylvania, she got 49,000 votes, and margin was 70,000.

So her ridiculous campaign can be blamed for Clinton losing two states, but not the third (she did not impact outcome in Florida either).

Why would she assume all her supporters in WI and MI would have voted for Hillary?

Most of them would have likely stayed home had she not been on the ballot.

Trump won PA without her even splitting the difference and he would have still won the presidency even if he had failed to carry WI and MI.

All of this is nothing more than partisan sour gripes.

"It seems forgotten that Stein got half a million votes in 2012, and that Johnson got over a million then. It’s pretty clear that neither ran for president in 2016 to hurt Trump."

What if Jill was expected to take votes from Trump, but did not?

Who is contributing the millions of $ for the recounts? Does anyone other than Soros have that much money to throw away?

I went to it but don’t get it. (I don’t have a Twitter account so maybe can’t access much.) What is it saying about Stein?

There is no doubt that Johnson and McMuffin similarly hurt Trump and quite possibly cost him NH, MN and perhaps NV.

Almost definitely NH as Trump lost by 3,000 votes and Johnson alone had 37,000 votes.
