Syrian Army and Kurdish YPG Launch Joint Operation East of Aleppo City

The Syrian army and the Kurdish People’s Protection Units (YPG) launched a joint military operation against the ISIS terrorist group east of Aleppo city on November 24.

The joint forces reportedly liberated at least 2 villages in the area: Sheikh Kife and Nirbeh.

Pro-government sources also argue that they liberated Juba and Halisah, but they had alredy been in the hands of YPG.

Clashes between pro-government force and ISIS were also reported near Tal Shair.

The joint advance of Syrian government and YPG forces took place following the recent escalations between them and Turkish-led forces across Syria.

On November 23, in northern Latakia, Turkish artillery units delivered strikes against the Syrian army, reportedly killing up to 80 soldiers. On November 24, the Syrian Air Force hit Turkish army units deployed in the countryside of al-Bab, killing at least 3 soldiers.

Intense fighting between Turkey-led forces and Kurdish YPG units have been ongoing west of Arimah since November 22.

If the army-YPG cooperation east of Aleppo is confirmed to be a full-scale advance, it will mean that the Syrian government and its Kurdish allies have decided to build a buffer zone west of al-Bab to prevent the Turkish military from expanding its presence into central Syria.

In this case, a major escalation against Syrian army and Kurdish YPG forces the only way to seize al-Bab for Turkey.

Are you telling us that we have NUKES IN TURKEY? For some strange reason, I believe you—

Yep, latest count between 75 and 90 B-61 gravity thermonuclear bombs, adjustable yield from 0.3 to 340 kilotons. Old but well designed and built, quite serviceable.

I hope Trump is made aware of this impending disasters and will retrieve our NUKES FROM TURKEY with dispatch without prior announcement. I won’t sleep now— Thanks!1 SOB that is so insane!!

The B-61 devices are at Incirlik Air Base (overall Turkish territory) in secured bunkers, in the American (NATO) secured and guarded section of the base, about 2500 American service personnel.

Additionally, the bombs can be irreversibly rendered non operational in about one minute by trained persons in the immediate presence of the devices. While the device is then useless, the weapons grade fissionable initiators remain in the bomb and could be recycled or used for a dirty bomb.

There is little likelihood that a functional B-61 would be liberated from American control, but the Turks have been harassing the American personnel and playing games with the electric power supply to the base and free access of Americans to and from the base.

The Turks are arrogant bastards and could cause some problems, plus they REALLY DO want them nukes.

Doubt that they'll get any though.

I understand re B-61 situation and security, Thank you. That is good news. We need to get out with all dispatch. I will sleep better. My concern is that ,in some distorted way, we fall into the Nato ploy to defend Turkey who just violated international law by invading Syria and we rationalize that with the placement of the the B-61 devices. That is Bolton crap. This is a religious war— It is all about religion. GET OUT!!

They were/are under control of our military. But the base has had power turned off recently and had to use backup generators. I assume power is restored. That does not secure the weapons.

That is very precarious. We have mush need for clear thinking. First, we must define who we are.
