Voter ID did a lot to help Trump’s victory in Wisconsin.

Turnout was exceptional. One voter every 2 minutes in my little township. Disabled elderly helping each other while using walkers and oxygen. Mentioned this to someone from the Election Board today at dinner and the same pattern was evident throughout our county. People in their 60s who had NEVER voted in their lives needed to be walked through the process.

While we’re all happy, people are still reserving judgement. We have been betrayed too often to fully trust. Trump has the benefit of the doubt for a while, but the prominent attitude is “At least he’s not Hillary.” Heard a story from a township named ‘Clinton’ where one elderly lady balked and demanded reassurance she wasn’t voting for Hillary.

Also, everyone is aware of #Pizzagate.

There was a lot more focus on vote fraud this time and so it was harder for democrats to win without it. I hardly saw any yard signs this election until the last couple weeks. They were all Trump signs. Suddenly, Trump was everywhere. No Clinton signs. She ran a low energy, “it’s in the bag” campaign. Democrats have gotten lazy. They thought all they had to do was stir up racial tension to win. They forgot about all of those working class people they’ve taken for granted for so long. Trump understood the potential. Trump won because he worked hard and he deserved to win.
