I have some familiarity with the criteria for formation of corporations.

The point remains that free men have the right to associate without the heavy hand of government interference. Some of those free men may choose to associate in religious endeavors, some may associate for recreational purposes and some may associate to produce widgets.

If the central government believes that more widgets should be produced in the US, it should eliminate the hurdles it has erected to domestic widget production rather than pretend that those hurdles don't matter.

“To be fair, MANY factors were a lot different, and more positive, in the days of Henry Ford.”

Indeed. We made your own steel from iron ore back then, dug the coal that ran it all, and were pretty much self-sufficient industrially in terms of both resources AND manufacturing, so a major new enterprise like auto manufacturing resulted in the rise of all boats, not to mention no competition with illegal labor.

“According to United Steel Workers Union President Chuck Jones, the manufacturing company cited the wage difference as the reason they are moving. In Indianapolis, workers were making $25 per hour, plus benefits. The workers in Mexico will be making $2.50-$3 per hour, plus benefits.
This is the core issue. Trump can’t fix this.

The union has to decide if it’s more important to keep the jobs, or preserve the unreasonable cost of labor. They can’t keep ramping up the cost of labor over and above cost of living, and remain competitive.

There are alternatives: increasing productivity faster than the cost of labor is a net win for both employer and employee. But, that requires compromise on work rules. “

There will be some type of compromise. Perhaps a reduction in work force too. But, the inducement to the company will be substantial tax benefits. Like those Trump mentioned regarding Apple and their potential for manufacturing in the United States.

Try engaging in business or any type of commerce without a business license or paying quarterly taxes and see what happens. “Natural people” my @$$...

My AC guy hates the new units. They break down so frequently he ends hip with a lot of warranty work that is far less profitable than installs, repairs or routine servicing.
***************
The new units operate at double the pressure of R-22 units and due to energy efficiency rules the tubing of heat transfer portions of evaporators and condensers are thinner every year...
