They don’t want to win an argument
They want to virtue signal to everyone that THEY’RE not a racist.
That’s it. By being the FIRST in an argument to claim the other is racist, they try to claim the high ground and put the other on the defensive. Of course, it only SEEMS to work from their own jaded perspective because they know they themselves would be horrified to be called racist.
They cannot fathom that those who know they are not racists just ignore the labeling and move on to the actual facts of the case. Then they claim that because you are not dignifying the remark by denying the label, that you are admitting it.
It is so tiring arguing with liberals that I no longer do it.
