I haven’t seen this year’s numbers for New York City, but if her margins were similar to Obama’s in 2012, Trump has more popular votes in the remainder of the US, outside New York City, than she does (even ignoring the issue of non-citizens’ votes being included in her total).

In the Deep Blue states of California and New York Hillary out polled Trump by 5 million votes. So this means that in the rest of the country Trump beat Clinton by 3 million votes.

The only number that matters is 270.

Yeah, and some football teams get more first downs but still lose 30-20.

Hillary won’t get a majority of votes cast. Period.

And yet, it’s still just H-> and her gin bottle keeping company in Chappaqua...nobody calls, nobody drops by, nobody writes...just her, a gin bottle, and all those votes as she tosses her clippings file into the crackling fireplace...every article, lovingly read while knowing all those votes that came from the article were for naught...a tear forms and is wiped away, a swig of gin then a toss of paper into the fire...the cell phone rings, just The Faithless One, considers consigning the phone to the fire but holds out hope Chelsea will call...

I have to wonder if Hillary even got 2 million votes IN TOTAL.

Well, that covers the approximately 2 million illegals who were allowed to vote.

After they are all disqualified, Hillary will lose 2,600,000 votes.

THAT SHOULD SETTLE THINGS.

Hillary Clinton's margin in the popular vote against President-elect Donald Trump has surpassed 2 million...

Clinton's criminal party has muddied the presidential election process beyond "Traditional" recognition.

As I recall recent history, on election day, and the few days later, Once the Clear and decisive number of electoral votes are cast, reaching or exceeding the number required to declare the electoral winner, all sorts of things (traditionally) are triggered. Among the rumors, this time, any remaining popular votes, military, mailed in or whatever, simply aren't counted.
Is this impression accurate?

Further, any suspected illegal criminal votes cease to be searched out, investigated or prosecuted.

What rules apply?

The 2 million figure, considering the sources, are almost certainly criminally bent, deliberate or ignorant fiction.

So what's the story?

I know for a fact that the ruling principle of the traditional MAFIA is also "Stronger Together..."

IIRC the Indians outscored the Cubs by about 15 runs in this year's Series.

I see what you did there...

Re: “But they could not predict correctly who would win.”

The Popular Vote polls were not trying to predict who would win the Electoral Vote - however, there is a 91% historical correlation between the winner of the Popular Vote and the winner of the Electoral Vote.

Almost all the Electoral Vote polls predicted Clinton would win, or too close to call.

However, since Trump won Wisconsin and Pennsylvania by a total of 95,000 votes, I assume almost all the Electoral Vote polls were within the margin of error, too.

Has this ever happened before? That the declared victor does not have the Electoral Votes awarded?
