YULEE, Fla. -- Nassau County Sheriffs Office Deputy Eric Oliver was hit and killed by a vehicle Tuesday morning while assisting Border Patrol agents.
Nassau County Sheriff Bill Leeper said Border Patrol agents were checking a vehicle between 7 and 7:30 a.m. with six people inside. The vehicle was stopped at a gas station on State Road 200 near Chester Road. Deputies were assisting in the check.
One person ran from the vehicle and two deputies ran after him. Deputy Oliver, 32, was hit and killed by a vehicle on SR 200 at Chester Road during the chase. Leeper said he failed to see oncoming traffic.
On Tuesday night, a Guatemalan man who has been deported twice before, was captured in Jacksonville following Oliver's death.

Anyone who kills one of our police should be immediately and publicly hung.
...hanged.
Right you are. First 'de-hung' him and THEN hang him.
Read the article!
You want to hang an innocent motorist?
Criminally insane = Death penalty
The supposed economic benefits of Hispanic immigration are illusory. By contrast, the economic, political, and social, costs are very real. America is harmed by Hispanic immigration, not helped, and for any government that puts Americas interest first there is only one way to deal with Hispanic immigration: reverse it.
Besides, central American are just flat-out dumb!
Or otherwise permanently remove from the gene pool and society.
No, hang the guy who ran and caused the death of the deputy. The motorist is not at fault.

Any police officer who kills an innocent citizen should be immediately and publicly hanged.
But I thought all cultures were the same
Prayers for the officers family
He ain’t innocent
He is a twice deported illegal alien
The driver was not identified. How do you say that?
An innocent motorist hit the officer. But the illegal is responsible for the death by running through traffic,
Show this to those illegal lovers...........

I lived in Fernandina Beach for 9 years, and this just breaks my heart. I know the gas station where this took place, as I’ve been there many times. My thoughts are with the officer’s family. This makes me so angry.
