Here’s the real bonus.....They succeed....we move in Federal troops and dissolve the legislator and remove the executive branch.....

Under US control......

Heavily enforce immigration control.....

Half the state will leave for Mexico, Central and South America.....

Liberal Heads will explode!

Well the USA currently collects < %1 duty on imports. So basically no tariffs. S why treat the country of California differently than the rest of the world? We are the world’s trade doormat.

This beats the hell out of Texas having to secede. I like the option. Do we need to set up a go-fund me page? When can we stop immigration from California to the USA?

They will become viable on the strength of their marijuana exports and the home of wealthy drug lords and their cartels. Poor people from all over the world will flock across what was formerly a closed boarder for the free benefits and lucrative employment opportunities ...

I was amazed at the number of older people were going to the shops. I think they mainly do the edibles. It really helps with the constant pain.

Because I especially do not like California and what it does to our nation.

Might help them with their part of the national debt they would assume upon leaving

The wall needs to be extended around Ca to prevent them from escaping into the land of normal.

After the secede the political anchor that was CA 55 ev’s goes away. I would hold no animosity to an independent CA. Via con dios CA.

More than half of the registered voters in the state must participate in the special election and at least 55 percent must vote "yes" for the proposal to move forward...

Also need to require a photo id and some proof a tax return was filed for the previous year. Maybe a W-2 would be helpful. That should cull the Hillary herd a little bit. Otherwise what you get is a waste of time and money and the same old voter fraud shyt.

This is a perfect example of managing for what you don’t want instead of what you really want.

It most likely would pass because it is an emotional issue and no one would think.

1) But what of the conservative rural areas? We have precedence with West Virginia for some counties breaking off to form their own state. Some one please post that history here.

2) So what is left is the major cities. Where do they go to for help? Russia, Mexico, others?

What happens to what is left? There are so many fractions there that they most likely will destroy them selves? Then what?

You are right, FReeper. I have the wrong attitude about this. Thank you. What can we do to help California gain their independence from the oppressive United States? We need to encourage and support their quest for freedom and independence from oppressive government.

If California were to secede, it would begin the unraveling of the entire nation, which is the goal of the open borders crowd — to break up the nation or breed it out of existence.

The USSR is a good example to study. NO ONE wanted to put it back together again. Vairous countries including us, aligned ourselves with the new countires with the purpose of:

DESTROYING USSR, BUT we said it for trade too.

SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, who would align themselves with the new country? China for one. Others?

So it is not just the internal liberals. It is part of the current UN agenda

I can just picture the new Republic of California flag: Pink, with mauve and beige, depicting a bear in a sombrero anally raping a smaller bear.

I actually did LOL. Nice.

The US Constitution is (still) silent on the subject of secession.

Yes, but there is precedence.

1) I think we would send in federal troops to stop the rioting and there will be

2) The rural conservative areas will break away and form a new state and we will quickly approve that (West Virginia)
