Hillary Clinton is being urged by a group of prominent computer scientists and election lawyers to call for a recount in three swing states won by Donald Trump, New York has learned. The group, which includes voting-rights attorney John Bonifaz and J. Alex Halderman, the director of the University of Michigan Center for Computer Security and Society, believes they’ve found persuasive evidence that results in Wisconsin, Michigan, and Pennsylvania may have been manipulated or hacked. The group is so far not speaking on the record about their findings and is focused on lobbying the Clinton team in private.
Last Thursday, the activists held a conference call with Clinton campaign chairman John Podesta and campaign general counsel Marc Elias to make their case, according to a source briefed on the call. The academics presented findings showing that in Wisconsin, Clinton received 7 percent fewer votes in counties that relied on electronic-voting machines compared with counties that used optical scanners and paper ballots. Based on this statistical analysis, Clinton may have been denied as many as 30,000 votes; she lost Wisconsin by 27,000. While it’s important to note the group has not found proof of hacking or manipulation, they are arguing to the campaign that the suspicious pattern merits an independent review — especially in light of the fact that the Obama White House has accused the Russian government of hacking the Democratic National Committee.

Well then we will also have to look at Trump and see where he statistically lost votes as well, it can’t just be one person who lost votes.
If Clinton could lose votes as they are hypothesizing, Trump also could have because lots of those places had democrats in charge of voting areas and ballots.
It’s just ridiculous. IF ANYONE CHEATED FOR VOTES IN WISCONSIN IT IS CLINTON. The Chicago machine people along with Madison and Milwaukee liberals even with their cheating this time could not win.
The real secret and they know it, is that blacks and hispanics and women were just not jazzed to vote for Hillary. They know they didn’t get the turnouts they expected. They KNOW this and they want to call voter fraud because their cheating wasn’t enough this time.
Depending how you want to organize the data you can come up with all sorts of “statistics” that you can claim.
Do they not think Trump’s campaign can come up with “statistics” of their own?
They lost WI because of voter ID.
They could not bus in the same numbers of people from Illinois to vote like they did last time. I am sure friendly polling places let some in to vote without ID or the clerks had a bunch of filled out ballots they added to the stacks of valid ballots, but they could not bus people in and take names off their lists and use them like they did in 08 and 12.
I shouldn’t say they lost WI because of voter id. THey lost because they ran Hillary. They could not successfully STEAL WI because of voter ID.

As far as hacking goes, note what was said in the article:

Many machines in several states controlled by Soros were highly manipulated.
If Clinton goes with this, it is she and her handlers that will be proven to be the vote manipulators.

Yep, my take on it is that Clinton will get her clock cleaned if she pushes this.
It all depends what her puppet master Soros tells her to do.
He was very much less well known than Hillary. She had high negatives from the start. He was younger. People thought it novel to vote for a black JFK (what they thought).
I can’t see this going anywhere. Without any definitive proof of hacking, manipulation or other irregularities and being two weeks post election/post Hillary concession I can’t see any judge throwing out the results in either PA or WI or even delaying official election certification based solely on suspicion. For the courts to get involved two weeks post election, definitive proof that irregularities occurred on a large enough scale to change the outcome of the race MUST be presented, not suspicions or theories.
Trump won both PA and MI by over one percent. If there were serious irregularities in the vote counts in these states, elections officials would have surely picked up on it and notified both campaigns and the media by now!
The only state she might challenge that has a prayer of succeeding is MI, which Trump won by just 0.3% (13K+votes).
For her to succeed and become President, she has to sweep all three states (MI, PA and WI) via court challenge. With Trumps margin of victory both PA and WI being over 1%, only the most crooked of judges would throw out the results and award the states to Hillary.
Either campaign can of course request a recount be done, but must agree pay the entire cost for the recount, since Trump finished well above the automatic recount threshold where the state would have to pay (1/2 of one percent in PA and WI, 2K or less vote difference in MI).
Trump would have won Wisconsin by a much larger margin if Paul Ryan and Scott Walker had gotten off their dead asses and campaigned with him.
What about all the fraudulent votes for Hitlery in Philadelphia? How ‘bout we investigate those?
And what about all the illegal alien voters across the country? And the voting machines that flipped votes from Trump to Clinton? And all the multiple voters who registered in the names of deceased people as well as false names?
I can’t help but wonder if New Hampshire, Virginia, Minnesota, Nevada and Colorado were stolen from Trump.
The democrats should think twice before going down this road.

I’m sure some Democrats will object to some States’ electoral votes. The House will discuss the matter and then overrule the objections. It will be nothing more than political theater. They’re just being sore losers. Expect it for the next four years.
Not sure they expect it to go anywhere... they just want the lie to be repeated often enough to delegitimize Trump’s win in the eyes of the rioters. The longer and faster they stir the pot the better they think. It is a 3-pronged attack: 1) attack him as racist/misogynist/nationalist, 2) attack him on conflict of interest/nepotism, 3) delegitimize the election results. They do not care one iota about LEGALLY overturning the election... they are taking the ‘new order out of chaos’ approach... rising from the ashes.
Very self-serving analysis, I’m sure. Like shooting an arrow at a wall, and then drawing a bull’s eye around it.
For that matter, why not analyze the states that Trump lost, and see if there’s a similar discrepancy due to another factor. And why not take a close look at the demographics of the different counties to see if there’s an explanation there for the discrepancies that’s also reflected in the county’s purchasing?
