Jared Kushner was hardly a household name outside the rarefied world of Manhattan’s moneyed elite when his father-in-law, Donald Trump, began his quixotic presidential campaign.

But by Election Day, he emerged as “Donald Trump’s campaign savior” through his connections to tech giants from Silicon Valley and savvy use of social media that they taught him, a new profile revealed Tuesday.

“And he did so in a manner that will change the way future elections will be won and lost. The traditional campaign is dead, another victim of the unfiltered democracy of the Web — and Kushner, more than anyone not named Donald Trump, killed it,” wrote Steven Bertoni in an interview with Kushner for the Dec. 20 issue of Forbes magazine.

It’s just that I don’t understand how any sane person could be a democrat after Reagan.

Yes, fantastic team effort. Kushner, Eric, Jr, Ivanka, Newt, Reince, Lewandowski, Bannn, Conway and many behind the scenes plus 61 million voters. Everyone on the team played their position perfectly. The media repeatedly tried to create divisions between players and the players never fell for it.

What a change from most R campaigns in which the R candidate and his staff feel intimidated and apologetic.

Why did Kushner talk about their strategy in such detail? It was a brilliant organic plan which evolved, but the forbes article detailed all of the trump campaign strategies. Is it because they feel the digital environment will be different in 4 years and no one could replicate their efforts if they tried? Namely because Trump is unlike any other candidate and the world will be further along regarding communication strategies in four years?

The forbes article detailed everything regarding Trump campaign strategy.

This is the Genius of Trump. He knows what he needs to get done, and knows how to find the people to do it. Its what a great CEO / President does.

He does. A good boss will surround himself with smart people, often smarter than he/she is. No "yes" mean. Get people who are smart and confident enough to call things as they see them, even if they might go against what the boss thinks. Likewise, a good boss will not retaliate against those who are loyal and respectful but offer opposing views.

That said, we have to give credit to the voters who were smart enough to see through Hillary's lies and posing and vote for someone who represented a change from traditional DC insider politics. At least enough to provide an electoral majority.
